Word of the week: Attraction

ATTRACTION

Like attracts like.  The simplicity of my thoughts attracts into my world what I call forth. The optimistic thinker sees life with joy, hope and light, while the pessimist may perceive doom and gloom as life's reality.  The story we tell over and over becomes our reality the more we share it.  Today I use Unity principles to accept what I truly desire; by affirmations and denials, by understanding the power of the Christ within to accept my good, and to release what is not for my highest good, my life works.  I Am a powerful child of God.  With each new realization of Truth I "hold the thought" and affirm the perfect outcome until the divine manifestation comes into order.  I see it and know it in my mind and my heart, and I am grateful.

World of the week: Divine Order

Divine Order

My inspired ideas grow to fruition in divine order. I joyously participate in the orderly unfoldment of good.

Each year as our planet travels around the sun, the changing seasons bring an orderly process of renewal and growth. A farmer doesn't plant seeds in the frozen winter ground, but rather, recognizes and works in harmony with the order of God's creation.

Likewise, there is an orderly process of creation in my life. In the silence, I open to inspiration and seeds of divine ideas are planted in me. I take inspired action, sowing my ideas and patiently awaiting their growth. In their season, my ideas spring into manifestation and I feel the joy of co-creation. Just as a farmer trusts in order when planting seeds, I hold to my faith and watch as my inspired ideas grow to fruition in divine order.

On the mountain height of Israel I will plant it, in order that it may produce boughs and bear fruit, and become a noble cedar.--Ezekiel 17:23

Word of The Week: Prosperity

 Prosperity

 

When my prosperity appears to be delayed, I remember giving and receiving are a part of the same energy.  Spirit illuminates my path showing me creative ways to give to start prosperity flowing..  I begin by imagining myself in the flow of all good.   I envision a huge circular spiral of giving and receiving: love, gifts, time, money, connections and everything good.  My vibration increases as I imagine overflowing abundance and it feels good.  It is good! I feel prosperous.  I am prosperous.   Filled with joy and gratitude, I say Thank You God! And so it is!

Affirm: I AM eternally connected to my Divine Source. The spiritual ethers are filled with plenty. I am prosperous!

Word of the week: Release

RELEASE

Charles Filmore, co-founder of Unity, defined 'Renunciation', as "A letting go of old thoughts in order that new thoughts may find place in consciousness.  A healthy state of mind is attained when then the thinker willingly lets go the old thoughts and takes on the new..."
Divine thoughts of infinite possibilities of a life filled with love and abundance guide me to live fully and manifest from God (inside) out.  As I release old, worn out concepts of lack, limitation, and negativity, I embrace all that God has in store for me.

Affirmation: New ideas of success pour into my life as I release anything not for my highest good.

Word of The Week: Joy

 

 

 Joy
 

What makes you joyful? As we go through our thoughts, we may think of things like our homes, our careers, or our prized Apple gadgets. But joy goes beyond the physical manifestations of good, of course. How wonderfully joy-filled does our time with family and friends - perhaps doing absolutely nothing but sitting and chatting - mean to us?

How holy and precious is sitting and petting a sleeping dog or cat in our laps? How soul-satisfying is it to read a brilliantly written book for hours? How beyond blissful is it to have a quiet and deeply peaceful meditation time? Right now, come up with ten blessings in your life that give you great joy; give thanks to your Creator for these and more coming into your life today.

Affirm: I AM joyfully and eternally grateful for God's unending good pouring into my life.

Word of The Week: Good

GOOD

God is Good. I am Good. Everywhere I look within and without I see God's Good.  God's Good is manifested in my relationships creating harmony.  God's Good is manifested in my finances and I am prosperous.  God's Good is manifested in my career and I have perfect self expression.  God's Good is manifested in my being and I grow in Grace.  All the circumstances of my life are Divine Good manifesting through me.  Thank You God.

Word of The Week: Clarity

Clarity

Sometimes life can be confusing, even for a devoted Unity student or practitioner (or minister!). The way through the uncertainty that life's path can appear to present occasionally is to affirm the Truth: Divine Wisdom reveals the way; I know what to do and how to do it. As we focus on the answer within, it's as if a fog has lifted and the answer comes quickly and clearly. There is no mystery to God's children when they become centered, calm and certain that the answer is already here.

Word of The Week: Help

HELP

We all experience challenges in our lives. When these challenges appear we may be tempted to try to "fix" them ourselves. We may talk about these challenges to family and friends, eliciting advice. Or, we may seek guidance from our religious or spiritual leader. Any of these avenues may or may not lead to a clear or satisfactory resolution.  But, if instead of seeking a solution from outside of ourselves, we go within and release all concerns to our source, we are assured of our right and perfect outcome.    Ask God for help and trust that Spirit is at work. Word of The Week: Endure

Endure

Sometimes when life overwhelms us, we may think, "Oh God, the joy has gone. How can I endure this? Help me!" It's at these times of challenge that Spirit reminds us to breathe. And breathe again. The tension eases; the tightness eases. I become aware of The Stillness of God within as I claim my peace. As I continue to focus on my oneness with God, I become one with this "peace that passes all understanding." I feel the peace of God move in and through me; moments become minutes, minutes become hours. And peace is still here.

The journey continues. I endure. I may still feel sadness, pain, or hurt, but I see the light. My joy is returning. 
For this powerful reminder and my ability to endure life's peaks and valleys, I say gratefully, "Thank you, God!" 

AFFIRM: Nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.

Word of The Week: Breaking Convention

Breaking Convention

Spirit knows the longing of my heart; the longing for something different right now.  The still small voice within me says "Open up!  Begin in willingness and allow that to inhabit every cell of your being.  Breathe it in and feel the opening of your consciousness.  Take inventory, especially of your routines; even your 'good ones'.  Routines take us into unconsciousness.  Today, try breaking convention and take a different route to work or school or wherever you are going.  Eat something different for breakfast or lunch.  Take a movement class instead of doing your usual routine at the gym. Also, take note of your language and try to catch yourself when you begin saying things like 'I could never do_____,' 'I always sleep on the left side of the bed,' or 'Me? Write a book? Never!'  Instead, consider the possibilities that could open up to you when you decide to release these declarations.  It's ok to be a bit uncomfortable. 

It's just a thought.  What would it look like and feel like? This is how you begin to open up your life."

Affirmation:  I am open and receptive to Divine Guidance.  I know with God, all things are possible!

Word of The Week

ONENESS 

I am grateful to begin my day hearing the still, small voice of God reveal: "You are loved and supported," no matter the story of lack I tell myself. The Spirit of God invites me to broaden my prayers: join with others in prayer, named and unnamed; pray for and with other children of God for their desired good, too. See these wonderful individuals receiving the desires of their hearts. Rejoice for them, and bless them with love and joy for answered prayer.

 

By becoming more aware of our oneness with God, and with our brothers and sisters in spirit, we all receive overflowing good. Today I affirm and acknowledge there is only abundance at work for us all; I am grateful for my ever-unfolding realization that there is only one power and one presence at work in all of our lives: God, the good.

 

Affirm: With God ALL things are possible!

Word of The Week

Divine Plan

I know, deep within, that I am required and vital to the Universe, but sometimes this concept is so beyond my understanding. Could it be?  I am willing to understand and I am open to the inner knowingness. In the quiet, the still small voice speaks: "My plan is unfolding perfectly. Without you, the Universe does not evolve in the same way.  You can't not follow my path.  There are no mistakes.  Everything is in Divine Order.  Yes, like with a GPS, sometimes it is necessary to recalculate a course of action, but you are flexible and therefore, you can handle that!  So relax, and breathe in and out.... The truth is that the Divine Plan is continuously unfolding and the Universe is evolving perfectly because of who you are and how you show up.  Accept this truth and get on with doing what you came to this planet to do:  be the best you, you can be!"

AFFIRM: I know what to do, and how to do it.  Thank You God!

Word of The Week

I was going to wait until the new year and restart the word of the week, but after a weekend of being sick from another migraine and other pressing issues, I do what I do when I can't cope...pray. I spoke outloud and asked for help, guidance, whatever I needed and today things opened up and I am convinced my prayers were answered! So I said no time like the present to exhibit my faith and do the word of the week again. This weeks word rang very true for my and my situation this weekend.

 

 

TRUTH

 

Sometimes it's easy to be distracted by the facts of a matter. Sometimes it's easy to forget the Truth and feel alone, separated, and unable to believe that God is present. When we experience difficulties in life using only our natural senses, it is easy to move into "fix it" mode. When we remember to go within and tap into our Source of Oneness, we open the way to the "see" through our spiritual eyes and know the Truth. We know we are loved, protected, and blessed. We know God's will for us is absolute good, and we are worth it!

 

Today, remember to think thoughts and speak words that affirm abundant life, wholeness, joy, love and peace. Remember to give thanks for being willing to "see" your faith pointed in the direction of divine, unlimited possibility. Remember the way out is to make way for your inner spirit to radiate the highest and best through you!

 

Affirmation: "Today, I go within and remember the Truth."

Word of the week...Healing.

We often think that the word "healing" refers to relieving or curing a physical ailment. Although healing includes this type of manifestation, the true meaning of the word means to bring wholeness to every area of our lives. Healing and curing are different things. To "cure" means to stop deterioration from happening, as in curing meat to stop it from spoilage. We are affirming healing as the divine idea of God.


True healing is bringing the whole of God's life and power, not only to the body temple, but to our minds, our relationships, our work and our abundance consciousness.

Healing is the full realization that Divine Life, Love, and Light are actively at work in and through your mind, body and life right now.

When you have finished reading this, I invite you to close your eyes and call forth the presence and power of Divine Wholeness. Feel it moving through you, releasing, calming, and restoring the full power of God to you entire being.


Affirm: I AM restored and renewed by the presence and power of God's healing love.

Word of the week... Light

I got some (not so) unexpected news that has me  off center and a bit stressed. I will apply this message today just to give myself  peace of mind until the situation works itself out.  

What part of life seems difficult to get a handle on? Healing? Abundance? Relationships? It can be frustrating when the rest of life is going well, but this one area seems to be stalled, especially when your prayers don't seem to work in moving this desired good into manifestation. Today I invite you to release any care or concern you have about your life to God.


We may be attempting to make this area of our lives work by ourselves - no matter that we say we are giving it over to God. But if we are constantly worried about it, or wracking our brains to solve the problem, then we really haven't turned it fully over to our Creator. And if we are only willing to let a part of it go, then we haven't let it go at all.

Today I invite you to let the power of Divine Light illumine your divine path and allow God to show you what needs to be done for your full good to come forth.


Affirm: God is the light on my path; my way to complete success is made clear.

Word Of the week...DREAM!

My dream? To own my own luxuray fashion company, drive a platinum Mercedes benz,have a little villa in Tuscany region of Italy, Travel the world, meet a my right and perfect guy, get married and have kids! What's your dream?

What is the biggest, most wonderful, most joyful dream you've ever had? Most of us think this dream is a mere fantasy, a flight of fancy that never could have happened, but it sure is fun to imagine. Do you know that God has never given us a dream or image of absolute good without a means of having it manifest in our lives? It's true.

Now, it doesn't mean that the dream will appear exactly as we image it. But your dream contains clues as to how to have the best life you could ever have - open yourself to God's message of wholeness, abundant good and success by asking God: What does this dream mean and what is it I'm supposed to know from it? God will reveal the next step in your divine path to your total good. Follow your dreams; they're trying to get your attention!


Affirm: My dream is from God, and I AM abundantly blessed.

Word of the week: Faith

Faith. This was the word of the week  that I got in my email. I have been feeling a bit down about some things, but there is a part of me, my spiritual part, that never loses faith no matter what is going on in my life. Not losing faith and never giving up has pulled me up and out of a lot of sh*t! 

What do I really believe about life? That it's crummy and getting worse? That I'll never have the finances/career success/holy relationship/vibrant health/(fill in the blank) that I've longed for God-knows-how-long? At this start of the new year, I invite you to stop the limited and defeatist thinking that is actually blocking God from bringing you all that you've dreamed about and desired. Jesus told the woman who had been bleeding for years: "Your faith has made you whole."


If you haven't had the healing, the abundance, or the mate you've been seeking, it doesn't mean it isn't waiting for you; it means that you've been attempting to do God's work without allowing God full control. Have faith that God knows how to do God's work, and give up trying to do what you don't know how to do! Give permission today for God to do what God does so well, and accept that your Creator is doing exactly what needs to be done within you.

Affirm: God knows how to do my life; I let go in faith and all is well in my world.
