RIP Sherman Hemsley

Sherman Alexander Hemsley (February 1, 1938 – July 24, 2012)

Famously known as George Jefferson on the hit tv series The Jeffersons, must see tv for me back in the day. I was so sad to hear he had died today. He moved on up to that delux apartment in heaven. God rest his soul. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Happy Birthday America!

Eat some really good bbq, have a cool drink in this heat and watch some cool fireworks (or watch them on tv as I know some places have canceled the fireworks displays for fear of starting fires). Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful day! Have fun and stay safe!

R.I.P. Andy Griffith

I was sad to hear on the news that Andy Griffith died yesterday. I use to watch The Andy Griffith Show when I was growing up, re-runs, but a good show is still good even in re-runs. I started watching Matlock in re-runs when they took Perry Mason off. I didn't know what I was missing! I do know what the world will be missing in Andy Griffith, a southern gentleman who spent the better part of fifty years entertaining us. God bless and rest his soul and my prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

Eye Candy... Douglas Booth

This months eye candy caught my eye back in March. PBS was airing a version of Great Expectaions and I saw Douglas Booth and was compelled to watch, turned out to be pretty good. Born July 9, 1992 so cute and so young. I feel like that old pervert from Family Guy, LOL! Enjoy!
This is a picture from Great Expectations.
