Eye Candy

This months eye candy is Rob Evans. Don't know much about him and honestly I've never seen him before I saw these pictures (and dowloaded them for myself) from Black Super Models Chronicles blog. I liked the black and white images the best. Enjoy!

Outdoor Statues: Charging Bull

I took yhis picture about a year ago and got caught up in school and other life activities and I didn't post it. I was downtown for a meetup at South street seaport so I went early to take some pictures since I'm rarely in this area. I kid you not, I was across the street from the bull and no one was around the thing, but no sooner did I cross over to take a picture all these people/tourists appeared! I hate having random people in my photos unless they are interesting or in this case there is too large a crowd and no one is moving anytime soon. A little wikipedia info below.

Charging Bull, which is sometimes referred to as the Wall Street Bull or the Bowling Green Bull, is a 3,200 kilograms (7,100 lb) bronze sculpture by Arturo Di Modica that stands in Bowling Green Park near Wall Street in Manhattan, New York City. Standing 11 feet (3.4 m) tall[1] and measuring 16 feet (4.9 m) long,[2] the oversize sculpture depicts a bull, the symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity, leaning back on its haunches and with its head lowered as if ready to charge. The sculpture is both a popular tourist destination which draws thousands of people a day, as well as "one of the most iconic images of New York"[3] and a "Wall Street icon"[4] symbolizing "Wall Street" and the Financial District.

Eye Candy

This months eye candy is Brazilian Henzo Hulle. I originally thought he was scandinavian or from one of the eastern block countries. He's young, tall, and had a tight lean body. Grrrr, baby!(my inner cougar) Enjoy!

Celebrity sighting!

I was comng out of the subway staion at 181st street and was just walking up the street heading to Staples to return something when who should walk right past me? Gabourey Sidibe! That's right "Precious" walked by me. I looked at her and smiled and she smiled back. She's not that tall, not as big as he looks on film and in pictures and she's quite cute in the face. My camera was too far down inmy back pack for me to dig it out and snap a picture, dang it. Oh, well.

*photo is from a yahoo search

Her mother(below) I have also seen before Gabourey became famous. I saw he mother singing at the 59th street subway station before several years back. Talent must run in the family because her mother is a really good singer. I highly recommend taking a moment to pause and listen to some of the musicians that play/perform in the subways stations or even out on the street. I've heard some really good music. There is a trio that sings classic Motown Temptation hits who are incredible! I see them mostly at the 59th street station or sometimes at 42nd street station, the blue line A, C & E. Look out for them.
