A friend of mine invited me to her meetup groups stitch-n-pitch to see the Mets minor league team, the Brooklyn Cyclones vs. Batavia play out on Coney Island. It was a lovely evening, and I came so close to getting a foul ball! Dang it! The girl three persons to my right caught it. I don't even remember who won, but at the end of the game they let you run once around the bases! I didn't do it this time because I was wearing a dress and wearing sandals, but next time...
