I was walking around my neighborhood earlier this month and I couldn't help but notice the beautiful fall colors in the trees. There was a building I walked by that had vines all over it in the same colors as the first picture , but I had too much stuff on my cellphone sd card that I couldn't get a picture at that time. I walked by a week later and all the leaves had fallen off.

I pass this cut little display every time I walk up to the Family Dollar near Dyckman street. I thought it was cute and took some pictures.

I was walking to the Rite-Aide in my neighborhood and walked past the google maps car!

 I just thought this squirrel was so cute digging in the dirt. He didn't scamper up the tree when I stopped to take his picture, just kept on digging.

I saw this pink car( don't know the brand), but I knew someone had reallu good Mary Kay sales! This is the second one I've seen up in the Heights. This was parked on Broadway and 190 something.

Fashion Week Fashionista Fashions

Some random shots of fashionistas from inside the tents during Mercedes Benz Fall 2012 fashion week. It was the  last day for me and a rare opportunity to sit, chill, people watch and take pictures!

Former America's Next Top Model contestant Toccara. She said 'hi" to me and my friends when she walked by! Fabulous!

Random art on display

I was walking with some people down 8th ave(I think) between 18th and 17th street on the east side of the street, when someone spotted this on the ground next to a payphone(they still have some around!)

I was walking downtown, lower eastside, when I saw this statue on the rooftop of this building. I wrote down the exact street, but I have misplaced the paper I wrote it on, so I will insert the location later. If you zoom in close,you will see that  it's a statue of Stalin. There was this thing going on around the city  last year or so, where these statues were being placed on roof tops of buildings, this may or may not be one. I recall a report on the news someone thought one of the statues was a real person about to jump off the building!

I was walking through the maze to the train at 34th street to take the A train home when I saw  or rather heard this. It was such a pleasant surprise. They started off next to one of them doomsday people who say the world is going to end tomorrow *rolling eyes*. They moved to this spot where I was able to record them. This gets people to drop bills. I saw all the bills when I dropped my dollor in thier music case. This is one of many reasons I love New York!

I went out to the grocery store a couple a days ago to get some yogurt for my queezy stomach  and on my way back I saw a pink Escalade. A pink Escalade on 181st is not usual and as I got closer I could see that it wan't just any  pink Escalade it was a Mary Kay Escalade. Mary Kay as in Mary Kay Cosmetics. They give a car (use to be a pink Cadillac) to thier top sellers. I did a internet search about to find out when the Cadillacwas replaced by the Escalade, but I didn't find anything about it,  but then I didn't do the extensive of a search but, it doesn't really matter. I took a couple of pictures because I just thought it was cool to see this particular carrandomly in my neighborhood. Have a look.
